This album was created as a reentry to the world of Charanga music. The artist, Andrea Brachfeld, had put her career on hold while bringing up her child. The compositions on the album are well-known to the Latino community as is Andrea for her contribution to Charanga '76 with the hit song "Soy." There are also a couple of original compositions. Andrea was the first woman flutist to play this music in the United States.
